Here’s my answer:
Without knowing you and your business, it’s hard to say that social media marketing is the best way to market for you. But I will give you 3 tips that might be helpful – things I see other business owners doing that don’t work on social media.
- Pick only one social media account, work at it daily for at least 3 months, and then decide if your time has been worth it. A common mistake is to go for them all – which eats up your time and dilutes your efforts.
- Plan your content – use client-attractive lead-in words and keep the topics tightly focused to relate to what you are offering in your business. If your topics are all over the map they won’t reflect your business well.
- Get Lynn Terry’s Social Media Marketing Plan which includes membership in a private Facebook group. It’s great training and lots of helpful, behind the scenes information. I use it myself. (That’s my affiliate link, in fact.)
