I’ve been in business long enough to know that customer loyalty is formed over small acts and can be lost quickly. You never know. You just never know when what you say to a client or customer has a big impact, or impresses that person.
I have had this happen to me so many times in my coaching practice. More often than I ever thought, people write to me and say, “You told me something years ago and I’ve never forgotten what you said. And I thought about it a million times and it really did change my life.”
I’m so honored by that. Wow! I never think about that kind of impact when I talk with people. But we do have that kind of impact. You do and I do. We all have that kind of impact.
This 5 minute video is a little story and a reminder that what we say, what we are willing to do, or how we extend ourselves to others really can and does make a difference. We can impact others deeply, even if we think nothing about it. Your clients are watching every move you make, everything you say. So be mindful and careful what you say and what you do in relationship to others who are you clients and customers because you really are having an impact on them. Your impact is often far greater than you think, and it builds or destroys customer loyalty.
