Subject lines that boost your email marketing
While you may be using social media to gain visibility and build your subscriber list, email marketing remains the top money maker for online entrepreneurs. The key parts to emails that work are:
- Email subject line
- First sentence of your email
- Call to action
- Postscript (PS)
While the most important metric in email marketing is your click through rate, your open rate is key, too. And the one thing that affects your open rate is your email subject line.
I’ve got two quick tips for you in this sort video. Either one will help you create email subject lines that get your emails opened.
The biggest goof in email marketing
I see clients make the biggest goof in email marketing all the time – and that goof is failure to send out consistent, useful emails to their subscribers. When someone decides to give you their name and contact information, they want to hear from you. If you don’t build out a sequence of follow up emails that keep you top of mind, you’re making a mistake. Your prospects will grow cold, and your income will suffer.
I went through a certification process to become an email marketing specialist because I know that emails are the solid core of my online business. If you have a list but don’t reach out to it regularly, I can help you create an email marketing strategy that will build income and visibility for you.
The core of email marketing
You want to have an impact on your list of subscribers, so that they open your emails, take action, and benefit from what you offer. My List Building for Impact and Success e-course can help you with that. It helps you with the information and skills you need to build and maintain a list of email subscribers, and talks more about why this is so key for online entrepreneurs.
But first, watch the video and see if you can use both of my tips for subject lines that get your emails opened. (Bonus tip – these work for blog post titles, too!)
