Get More Subscribers Through Your Blog With Post Gopher

December 11, 2017 by Sue Painter 2 Comments

You can help boost your subscriber list right on every blog post with this handy little WordPress plugin from Post Gopher. Here's what it does – it provides a PDF of any of your blog posts to someone who might want to read it later, or refer back to it. And when that person requests the PDF, they leave their name and email address, so at the same time, you are adding subscribers to your list. Sweet, right? PostGopher - List Building Made Easy for WordPress

Believe me when I say that I'm not techie – I won't even install a plugin on my site by myself! But Post Gopher is super-easy to set up once it's installed on your website – I did it without a hitch and it took me about 15 minutes total.

You can check out Post Gopher yourself by clicking on the image below or on this link (which is my affiliate link):  https://confidentmarketer.com/postgopher.

Getting more subscribers to your list (or list building) is key to having a robust business. No matter how big your list is, it's good practice to always be adding fresh names to your list. (You can read more about that in my List Building for Success and Impact e-course). Besides having opt-in offers, though, you also can get more subscribers to your list by turning each and every blog post into a potential list building for you.

Here's what Post Gopher looks like on my blog posts (see below).

list building with Post Gopher

When someone comes to my blog, she can click that bar to get access to a PDF of my blog post – which she can then keep to read later, or to use as a reference later on. When you click the link (you'll see a link above THIS blog post, too) you are asked for your name and email address, and immediately Post Gopher creates a PDF with your own branding and emails it to that person. It's quick and easy and it adds more subscribers to your list. I honestly cannot see a downside to this helpful plug in.

There are settings within Post Gopher to customize the click bar, and to customize the PDF. Just hover over the Post Gopher plug in (on the left of your dashboard in WordPress) and you'll see that you have these options:

  • Settings
  • Lead Gen Setup
  • PDF Setup
  • Statistics

Settings gives you a place to customize your click bar (I set mine to match my brand's main color). Lead Gen Setup allows you to integrate your autoresponder email system with Post Gopher so that the names and email addresses are added automatically to your list. PDF Setup allows you to customize how the PDF looks (you can use your own brand colors, for instance). And Statistics shows you how many clicks you've gotten on each blog post through Post Gopher.

In the right column of your dashboard you'll also see that you can preview the PDF of any blog post, and change the settings for that particular post, if you wish. Here's what you see (see below).

list building get more subscribers

When you offer the opportunity to get a PDF of a blog post you definitely increase your chances to get more subscribers and build your list. And since this tool is inexpensive and super-easy to use, it's a no brainer to try it. I am a fan of Post Gopher and I'm betting you will be, too. Click on the Post Gopher graphic above or go to this link to check it out:  https://confidentmarketer.com/postgopher. When you get Post Gopher, please comment below and let me know – I'd love to hear about your results!
