Joint Ventures and Cross Promotions – How To Pick a Good Partner

August 22, 2015 by Sue Painter Leave a Comment

Many experienced online business owners believe that the only real way these days to get the visibility and reach you need to succeed online is through joint ventures and cross promotions. In fact, Milana Leshinsky and Rich German teach that entire business model in a high level Joint Venture Insider's Group. (Click that if you want to listen to a webinar about JVIC and what it does.)

Working collaboratively can be a ton of fun or it can become a nightmare. I've had more than one client who did not set up a written agreement for their joint venture or cross promotion, and then ran into trouble when one partner felt like things were not equitable.

In this 3 minute video I give a few tips about how to pick a good partner for collaborative work – and what to avoid, too. I'd love to hear your own experiences and tips, too.

You can read more about working collaboratively in my blog post 7 Ways Collaboration Multiples Your Business and Marketing Efforts.
