This video blog (vlog) is all about website visibility, specifically what I’m doing to build visibility for one of my own sites. Back in August I did a vlog that talked about how I re-designed and re-launched one of my websites, suepainter.com. You can go here to find that vlog and download my 15 point checklist for website design, too.
I promised I would come back and talk about what I am doing to build website visibility and credibility with the new suepainter.com site once it was up and running. So here it is – 5 things I’m doing and why. This video is just under 10 minutes. It will give you lots of ideas about how to make your website get found in the sea of the bazillions of other sites out there – a good thing! I’d love your comments below – your own ideas and what you have learned from this vlog, too.
In this vlog I recommend two products by friends who are totally expert in their fields. To learn about copywriting using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) check out Karon Thackston’s training by I also want to point out Lynn Terry’s new Fast Social Media Results training which basically gives you a social media marketing plan – so helpful!
Great tips! I too am a fan of blogging and agree it’s great for visibility.
Congrats on your new site!
Great tips Sue! I especially liked the tip about free offer – changing it up if it’s not converting well is a key.
All great tips Sue.
Great tips, Sue! I do agree that blogging is crucial to raising your visiblility and you really do have to do it on a consistent basis. I have found that both blogging and using social media sites are great for builidng and nurturing relationships in in your community. With that being said, I think most people really under-use autoresponders. I can’t say enough how important autoresponders are in staying visible and inspiring people to do business with you.
It’s certainly a learning process to stay on top of this. Thanks for sharing this info.
Thank you Sue. I agree with you on the power of consistent blogging.
Ahhh… Website development and maintenance — the ever-evolving process. Great tips, Sue.
Write on!~
