Keeping a positive mindset with positive self talk is so critical to our success.
Too often people beat themselves up with negative self talk.

I also agree with Jessica. Many times when I “talk to myself” it really helps me. I really like the script, thanks for sharing!

I love #2 when you say to “say it out loud.” It’s so true that saying it out loud gets it into your physiology so you can feel the feelings and then move on. It may seem silly to “speak out loud” to themselves, but it’s so effective! Thanks Sue!

Yes, speaking it aloud helps to anchor it (and embody as you say).

I like that you say NOT to continue if something you’re working on is not working as planned – we are always taught to finish what we start and this makes sense

      Hi Trudy,
Yes, it is learning to live from the energy of things rather than a didactic moralistic place. Big difference!

Good points. I have seen people so immeshed in their negative story when you are trying to help them, that they don’t see the life preserver you are throwing them

Love the script – especially “I do whatever I need to do to make my business thrive.”. Great advice on “noticing” too.

Sue excellent points, particularly about change being a constant. I agree that “whiners” drive me crazy too! Thank you for the positive self talk script.

Sue, you are so right that we have to be careful of our self-talk. Good point about “noticing.” I think that trend watching is huge. Whining drives me crazy! I don’t put up with it in *anyone* . I agree about the constancy of change. Thank you for the script.

    Sue,

Great advice and I LOVE your script. Being present and noticing what’s really going on is KEY to moving forward. AND you count on “change” as a constant in life and business. 🙂

    Write on!~

HaHa! Sue, I love the line, “whining costs money.” That’s funny, but so true. Business success requires flexibility, resilience, and agility.
