My blog post about your marketing message in just one word inspired many small business owners to share their marketing message in just one word. I reported on 5 one-word marketing message challenge results in this blog post. But I had lots more brave business owners leave a note with their one word message. Here are 4 more who took the “your marketing message” test.
Mira Dessy is a woman I’ve admired for a few years now – I got to know her through asocial media tribe. A nutritionist who is passionate about teaching what is in the foods we eat, Mira’s one-word marketing message is “inspire.” She does just that with her blog posts and especially with her book The Pantry Principal – How To Read The Label and Understand What’s Really in Your Food. If you want to learn more about “clean eating” then Mira is your gal.
One of my sister certified Book Yourself Solid coaches, Sue Guiher’s one-word marketing message is “teach.” And teach she does, even at the University of Pennsylvania’s The Wharton School . Sue has a “100 blogs in 100 days” challenge going on over on her Facebook page. If you want to step up your blogging game go on over and join in.
“Listen” is Dr. Patricia Pimentel Selassie’s one word marketing message. I’ve come to know Dr. Selassie as an outstandingly well-versed professional who helps women with many types of health challenges feel much better, even when Western medicine has given up on them. To do her work well Dr. Selassie really must listen – it’s at the core of what she does. You can connect with her on Facebook at this link as well as on her website.
Yvonne Hart, like me, says her one word marketing message is “encourage.” Yvonne works with high performance leaders, coaching them to better relationships and confidence. Based in Tennessee, Yvonne coaches leaders everywhere by phone. Besides her website you can find Yvonne on Twitter, Facebook and Google + .
I’ll be back to tell you about more small business owners and their one word marketing messages in a few days. Meanwhile, though, I applaud these four entrepreneurs for being willing to distill what they do into one important word. If you want to take the challenge, leave a comment with your name, website URL, and one word on my blog post.
That Sue for encouraging everyone to think concisely about who they truly are and inviting them to play. Now I am playing with “transform” and not surprising both “teach” and “transform” are Core Values and show up in everything I do and am.
Missed the original post and will go back and read it. Congrats to the brilliant winners!
Mine would have to be: transformation
I have NEVER been able to sum anything up in one word!!! But here’s my epic try: Motivate 🙂
Thanks Sue. I appreciate all that you do and this was a great exercise for me to have to distill my message down to one word. I’m also enjoying hearing about others and their one word, it’s definitely food for thought.
